Sex Education, one of the engrossing Netflix original series, is about to return on the streaming platforms. The production and filming of Sex Education season 3 were stopped due to the coronavirus pandemic. But now makers are planning to resume the development.
The show has made a huge fan following since the release of its first season back in 2019. One of the many things that fans love to watch in the series is the romance between Maeve and Otis Milburn.
Sex Education Season 3: Updated Cast
The makers of Sex Education have signed Jemima Kirke for the role of the new headmaster of Moordale High. According to an article on The Sun, makers of Sex Education are already impressed with the “smarter” look of Jemima Kirke. She is going to be an intimidating figure and a great addition to the cast that is already filled with strong female characters.
Sex Education Season 3: Release Date
Yet, there is no official announcement regarding the release of season 3. But by looking at the release date of Season 1 and Season 2, we can expect season 3 in early 2021. Filming was scheduled to start from April 2020 but it got delayed due to Covid-19. On 9 September Netflix give us good news by announcing that the production of Sex Education Season 3 has now finally started.
Sex Education Season 2: Ending Explained (Spoiler Alert!)
At the end of season 2, we found that the relationship between Otis and Ola is over. Otis also loses his virginity with Ruby. In season 2 we also found that Otis has started to have feelings for Maeve, and he tries to express his feelings by sending her voicemail. But Isaac deletes the voicemail before Maeve listens to it.
After ending the relationship with Otis, Ola found that she is in love with her close friend, Lily, and she begins to date her.
